Congress and the Executive

Separation of Powers. Checks and Balances. These are the fundamental principles of the American government that the framers invented to keep our government fair and just. Today, the Executive branch has slowly been infringing on those principles. The expanding bureaucracy in Washington is slowly taking over the responsibilities of Congress in the name of efficiency and modernization. We need to shift responsibility back to the place where it belongs: with the people’s elected representatives in Congress.
